Your website is a living entity that grows and evolves with your business.

This is true no matter what is going on in the world. Not just right now. Your website is not a temporary advertisement. It’s not a fad or a phase. It’s a living entity that grows and evolves with your business as much as any brick and mortar store.

This is why I advocate so hard for planning your website in phases. For maintaining your website regularly. In other words: Training your website for the marathon it is running.

A marathon differs from a sprint

Many website owners look at their website the same way they look at other pieces of marketing collateral: as a sprint. The work is done up front, and once the pieces goes live in the world the race is run. Check, done, on to the next.

The thing is, your website will not just run one dash and be ready for the bench. It’s going to keep running. It’s going to run while you are sleeping. It’s going to run when things get slow and run when things get fast. The work to prepare your website for launch is just the beginning—the real training begins after your website goes live and visitors start coming to it.

This is why I do the work that I do. Because your website needs a training coach.

Someone to push it when things seem too easy. Someone to run the metrics and pinpoint the potential that’s been simmering under the radar. Someone to make sure every aspect not only starts the race in tip-top shape, but maintains that shape throughout.

What shape is your website in? Is it taking the miles in stride, or trudging along on autopilot?

No matter where you are in the training process, I can help get your website where it needs to be to crush it for the long haul. Drop me a line and let’s get started.
